Green Singles Makes A Difference

As a green dating site, Green Singles owes much of its success to their ability to attract a wide variety of membership that share a common vision. As the owners Mary and Allan put it, "We have helped single adults from 18-95 correspond and meet with others who share similar values, interests and concerns."
They have successfully connected thousands of green minded people from a wide variety of backgrounds with a green awareness in common. In doing so, they have become a powerful agent for positive social and environmental change. Their success speaks for itself ... "Our diverse membership represents a variety of backgrounds and affiliations, including people from across the U.S., Canada and other parts of the world. Many have married or formed lasting relationships."
According to their website, their members share a "global consciousness influenced by holistic philosophies, green politics, and a willingness to explore the mind, body and spirit." I spoke with Alan, one of the owners of the site, and he pointed out that in addition to creating a meeting place for green friends and lovers, they are helping to create the greening of our communities in many ways.
When you join Green Singles, you also support their commitment to supporting green organizations. "We share five per cent of our profits with dozens of non-profit groups that are dedicated to protecting the earth, its people and its animals. We have supported groups like Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Oxfam America and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. In addition, we support many local and grass-roots groups, and encourage our members to do the same. We also tread lightly on this Earth by using only recycled products and a paper-free web site."

From all accounts, they have been successful at bringing greenies together for many years and are continuing to do so.
